Seven 7 Corners Buffet 55

I have been hearing a lot of good reviews of this buffet particularly about their Indian Spread. So me, being patay gutom had to try the buffet for myself. When I first entered 7 Seven Corners Restaurant, I noticed that their buffet is smaller compared to the others out there. They have this one long Buffet spread which has several corners on it. I am not sure why this place is called 7 Seven Corners but my theory is that this long buffet table with prominent corners on it has to do with the name (I stand to be corrected).

Moving on, despite the buffet being relatively small compared to the other hotels, the spread is complete. They have the Soups, Salads, Appetizers, Main Courses, Breads, Pasta, Carvings, Grill, Noodles, Desserts and few others in Between – The coffee was great too! That dinner, they were celebrating Australian Cuisine so there were Lambs, Steaks, and Salmons in the Spread as well. As for the Indian Dishes, there were definitely more Indian Dishes compared to the other buffets out there. They probably have a good Indian chef because people really go for the Indian Dishes. As for me, I am not a big fan but I did sample some of the dishes which I though was “safe” for my digestion.

My Favorites during that Dinner were the Steaks, Salmon, Caesar Salad, Tempura, and the Pasta. The desserts were forgettable.

Here are the rest of the food:

When I say small I mean both the size of the restaurant and the number of selections. Parts of the buffet gets too crowded and the people bumps to each other because of the small space between the buffet table and the dining tables.

7 Seven Corners Restaurant Crowne Plaza Buffet Prices (NET):

Lunch: Monday – Saturday P1,547 Sunday P1,879
Dinner: Sunday-Thursday P1,768 Friday and Saturday P1,879

To be honest, I find the price of P1,879 a bit steep considering that the menu was not that extensive. 7 Seven Corners should probably improve their layout and introduce more dishes for their clients. A lot of buffets especially hotel buffets are stepping up these days, they don’t want to be on the latter part of the list of the most popular buffets in the metro. But hey, its just me… You go ahead and try them then tell me… 🙂 I would love to be corrected.

Hanggang Sa Muli! Paalam!

  1. Tried 7 corners a few days ago. The only thing my husband and I enjoyed was the Ribeye. It was a weekday lunch, so the selection was even smaller. Good thing we had vouchers so we didn't pay for the full amount. Still, it seemed a tad expensive for such a limited selection.

  2. We were at 7 corners yesterday and may I say that the steak and lamb chops were the only saving glory of the restaurant. They served spoiled smoked tanigue, malansa their tuna sashimi, the miso soup was overcooked – it tasted sunog already. The other dishes were either bland or unappealing to the palette. We didnt bother to taste any of the Indian dishes.

Glad that we purchased a voucher because the original price is definitely a waste of money.
