Lunch at Café Mediterranean

Café Mediterranean, Rockwell

Cafe Mediterranean is my go-to place if I am craving for some, you guessed it, Mediterranean food. The food is great and the price err.. reasonable not to expensive yet not cheap either. You should be prepared to spend around 400-500 for a meal. Good thing, I always end up super full after dining at Cafe Med. “Sulit na din!” My Personal Favorite – Moussaka and Chicken Kebab + lots and lots of their sauce.

Say Goodbye to Free Citibank Movie Tickets!

Hopefully For Now!

Well sadly, all good things must come to an end! Sad smile I can’t even remember when was the last time I paid for a Movie Ticket in Full! Thanks to this promo, I’m now used to paying only 50-80 pesos per movie!

Citibank’s Free Movie Passes Promo will end on 15 March 2011. I should know! They communicated this to me in every way possible - via SMS, Email, Citibank Online, and of Course Snail Mail! Yes! Yes! I get it now! Smile with tongue out

Here is the mail from Citibank.

HSBC and Mabuhay Miles Break-Up!

Yesterday I got a replacement card via mail from HSBC. I was surprised when I took out the card from the envelope. It was a Classic Visa – Not the Mabuhay Miles like I used to have.

HSBC Mabuhay Miles Visa      HSBC Visa Classic

Included in the envelope was a letter saying that HSBC and Mabuhay Miles will be Parting Ways Effective 15 July 2011. I know that this is bound to happen eventually since Mabuhay Miles belongs to the Lucio Tan group of companies - Philippine Airlines, PNB, Allied Bank, ETON, etc. It was just a matter of time. And it does make sense that they keep everything inside their fence.

Below is the Mail from HSBC.
