One benefit of being a Mabuhay Miles Elite Card Holder is the reciprocal lounge access that is extended to you in Airports where Philippine Airline Flies. In my recent trip to Seoul, I got to use Korean Air’s Amazing Lounge in Incheon Airport. My first thought – Our lounges here in Manila looks like Crap!
Korean Air’s lounge was huge! it has all the amenities that an Airport lounge has to offer. Shower Rooms, TV Rooms, Free Food, Free Drinks, Concierge Services, Printers, Faxes, Computers, Wi-Fi, Newspapers, and overflowing Coffee and Liquor. :p It was very clean – so clean – their maintenance team routinely clean a seemingly clean chair and table. Hahaha! Talk about OC Clean!
The food was great – catered by Hyatt and the Sausages was to die for! The Wi-Fi was super fast as expected in Seoul. And the Drinks – Tons of Choices! Free Calls via Skype, Universal Sockets everywhere and an Amazing View of the Jumbo Jets. It was a travellers heaven. A perfect way to relax while waiting for your flight after a vacation.

Travelling is definitely more fun with these kinds of perks. I am glad I was able to experience this. It really takes away the stress and really saves me a lot of money because of the free food! And of course above it all – Peace and Quiet! You wont even mind arriving at the airport early or a slight delay in your flight!
